Revisit in daylight — Nakamise-dori is covered, so rain doesn't matter. Try ningyo-yaki (bean paste cakes). Senso-ji itself has covered walkways.

Tokyo's curry capital. Pick any place with character — Jimbocho is famous for it. All indoor dining.
- 1:00 PM Jimbocho Book District
170+ used bookstores. Browse manga, maps, and art book stores. Perfect rain activity — duck in and out of shops. Some have English-language sections.
- 2:30 PM Kanda Myojin Shrine
10 min walk. 1,300 years old, the "tech blessing" shrine near Akihabara. Colorful, energetic. Quick covered visit.
- 3:00 PM Akihabara
Walk 10 min south. Electronics floors, anime culture, arcades — all indoors. Multi-story buildings you can spend hours in without stepping outside. Explore for as long as it holds your interest.
- 5:00 PM Kotobuki-yu Sento
Open-air bath, 2 saunas. Between Ueno and Asakusa. Hot bath in the rain is peak Japan.
- 7:00 PM Dinner on Hoppy Street
Izakaya alley near Senso-ji. Many spots have covered seating. Yakitori, fried foods, local vibe.
